This is the job for people who have done the breaking themselves, or who had the slab taken up by someone who did not include haulage. Broken concrete is heavy — it is priced and tipped by weight, not volume, which is why a small-looking pile costs more to shift than people expect and why a skip hired by size is usually the wrong tool. Clean concrete with the steel removed goes to a recycler and is crushed for reuse as aggregate. Concrete with rebar still in it, or mixed with soil, timber or plastic, is charged differently and some facilities will refuse it.
